Well, for all of Her devotees, Amma is the very foundation of our world. Everything is surrendered at Her feet. It is the perfect way to forge ahead in life. I always realize how fortunate those children are whose parents are already Amma devotees. They know of Amma from birth itself. What a blessed life that is! For those of us who have only come to know Amma either in our teens or 20s or later, the faith may not always be that steadfast. But this is obviously not true for everyone. Sometimes when the going gets tough, I find my faith rather shaky. Someday very soon I will get Amma's darshan. That's when I intend to melt in Her arms and ask Her: why me? But the spiritually correct way to approach it would be to not just see the negatives that happen but also the positives - For Amma's presence in my life. Why me, Amma? How did the universe decide to bestow such grace on me?! I have to keep the faith. At all times. Today and forever because Amma truly is the root of our world.
