322. Om kama-kala-rupayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is in the form of kamakala
In the form of the purest level of divinity, Amma is a beautiful presence in our world. Every year we look forward to seeing our Mother at least once. And the year that we are deprived of Amma's darshan is when we feel the absence most acutely. That's when questions arise in our minds. That's when we allow our emotions to dip down and everything seems bleak. That's when spirituality becomes a religion and prayer becomes a ritual. That deep longing for Amma seems to reach in and wrench our hearts away from our bodies. Hopefully that pain will soon go away. Hopefully soon I will find myself in front of my Mother and ask Her why? Why has She thought it imperative to put me where She has? And then, hopefully, the darkness will ebb. Because I will be in the presence of the Light.
Om Amriteswariye namah!
