106. Om sudha sarabhi varsinyai namah: I bow down to Amma who pours out streams of ambrosia
Words hurt, as do actions. As we grow up, we become insensitized to others. We are quick on the repartee. We are very swift in passing judgements and saying mean words with the absolute intent to hurt. Hurting others gives us a kind of pleasure that is short lived but tinged with triumph.
So when life brings us at a juncture where Amma becomes our Guru, we realize what it is to hear the purest of the pure words. What it means to be embraced by a divine being whose divinity is so strong, it has the power to shatter our past karmas and rewrite our future. What it means to see the selflessness of Amma's only wish: "Everyone in the world should be able to sleep without fear, for at least one night. Everyone should be able to eat to his fill, at least for one day. There should be at least one day when hospitals see no one admitted due to violence. By doing selfless service for at least one day, everyone should help the poor and needy. It is Amma's prayer that at least this small dream be realized" She chooses not to have wealth or material things. Instead, She wants what is best for us.
Such a mother pours out streams of ambrosia- the food of the Gods. She swaddles us in this ambrosia because for Her, every moment is about Her children. Everything She does is for us. It does not affect Her that some days an entire sunset and sunrise has passed by as She continuously gave darshan to Her children. Because for Her, only we matter. When we stand in front of Her, Amma sees us no differently from anyone else. And yet She makes you feel so important, so wanted, so loved. Like we matter. And that's honestly all each of us wants, isn't it? We want to feel important wanted, loved. Amma makes us feel this, purely based on the power of Her love. And She does that somedays 20,000 times over!
You are, Amma, the pinnacle of spirituality. You are an ageless stream of love. You are the one who makes us believe that now, everything is perfect with the world.
