Where are You, Amma?

458. Om malayacala-vasinyai namah: I bow down to Amma to resides in the Malaya mountain

So many mantras have gone by and now penning these every night has become a habit. I just wouldn't want this habit to be affiliated to any negative emotion ever. Like fear that I forgot to write it. Or worry that I may stray from the topic. The mind is a wandering minstrel and it takes all our super powers to keep our mind grounded in one place. As Amma says, we could reach America in 5 seconds on the wings of our mind. So I asked myself where I would like to go. Definitely to an Amma programme. Somewhere where Amma is, giving a satsang or hugging all Her children. Where better to feel secure, safe, happy? Where better to unburden all the baggage I've been walking with and leave feeling light and fresh? Where else can we totally let go of every fear and worry and just bask in the sweetness of Amma? Where are You Amma? Couldn't I get but one glimpse of You? That should help me get through a few months! On this festive occasion, please light the lamp of our hearts and minds so we can bask in the full glory of Your love. Please touch our lives with a hint of magic so that we know You haven't forgotten us. Please take our hands and lead us from the depths of darkness to the heights of light.

Om Amriteswariye namah!
