I have never, ever seen Amma requiring anything from us except our faith. She is ever content with everything around Her. At any given point in time, Amma is giving darshan, being asked questions by worried devotees and attending to ashram matters. She has willingly given up all material comforts and possibly sleeps an hour a day. There is nothing normal in Amma''s life. How can it be? Amma is divinity Herself. I remember something Amma has been saying to us repeatedly. Amma advices us to watch the events of our life as a witness. When we do this over time, we will learn to detach ourselves from the event and then, witness like, learn to distance our emotions. When we do this, we will become a lot more content with our lives. We will distance ourselves from our emotions, we will live in the moment. In the NOW. That is the only way to live life fully. The way Amma does. Living and enjoying every moment of the time granted to us!
