The shimmer of purity!

135. Om nir-malayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is free from all impurities

Of course She is. Where there is love, there can be no space for impurity. When a cup is full, can we ever hope to pour anything else into it? Amma's cup is full of love. How possibly can any vice be mixed into this? Everything about Amma, whether it is to do with Her physical appearance, Her words, Her thoughts, Her actions: there is not even a sliver of impurity. It's the purest thought, word, deed, look that one can ever hope to find. Amma is like the purest of pure lakes, shimmering with everything that's right with this world. A baby's chuckle, a rainbow, the mornings' first dew drop. It's this lake we need to dive into to realize what our actual reason for being on earth is.

Why do we feel so overwhelmed in Amma's presence? Because nothing, absolutely nothing can come close to the feeling of being flooded by so much love. So much so that it shakes you and we begin to question: what have I been surviving on till now? How have I been living my life? Once Amma enters our life, the period of living should be known as our Amma Life. During our Amma Life, we enter a new realm. A protected realm where Amma ensures that our march down the spiritual path is slow, steady and unwavering. That every experience that comes our way has to be met with the same spiritual energy Amma expects us to have; in fact, the energy She has blessed us with. Anything less would be a   blot on Amma's effort to keep us spiritually fortified against the vagaries of life. When we can be unwavering in the face of adversity, we dwell in true FAITH. That 5 letter word we bandy around but never truly live. That 5 letter word that requires us to keep everything by Amma's feet and sit back because we are supremely confident that Amma will do what needs to be done.

Amma deserves our faith. Because She is the essence of the world's purity. Because only She can love us more than we love ourselves. Because She is a mother who cares and we're special to her!

Om Amriteswariye namah!
