This spiritual journey!

655. Om yogyayai namah: I bow down to Amma who deserves yoga of all kinds.

How many spiritual miles we walk with the grace of Amma! With one touch of Hers, we are changed for life. We are protected, we are swathed in Her unending love. We are able to temper down our emotions as well as our reactions. All we care for is Amma. Our entire universe does a shift and the world begins to look different. All because one small lady with the power of the universe agreed to be our Mother! I am ever so grateful that we are Her children. Absolutely nothing in the world can parallel this. How much good karma we must have accumulated to be able to enjoy Amma's love and grace! How much good karma we must have to be under the spiritual protection of a great master like Amma! And since we are all spiritual aspirants, here's Amma's advice to us:
Your goal is to reach the state of perfection. Now the question is whether you really want it or not. Sometimes ‘yes’ and sometimes ‘no’ is out of the question. If this is your attitude, then this is not your place. There is no such thing as vacillation in spirituality. There is either ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ That is it. If you feel spiritual sometimes and non-spiritual at other times, that is not spirituality. What Amma means is that your mind should be fixed on that, i.e., the goal. There ought to be no distractions. It is dangerous if you simply let yourself be carried away by circumstantial distractions. Since your main purpose in life is to realize God, the awareness of the goal and intent to reach it, otherwise known as lakshya bodha, should always be present.

Om Amriteswariye namah!
