519. Om mudgaudanasakta-cittayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is particularly fond of food offerings made of mung beans
The altar is painted and cleaned. And for some reason, I didn't feel too connected. Maybe because I wasn't praying through it all. Or maybe because I'm still looking out at the universe and wondering why the ride's been bumpy. To grow spiritually I think is to mature and age wisely. It is to be able to look at any event and truly become a witness. To be able to watch and observe while weighing our options and preparing ourselves for the best reactions. To do so is to actually distance ourselves from high emotions and keep with the spiritual thread of the moment. How calmly we can then take on the world! This is only possible if we all observe and learn from everything Amma teaches us. Every sat sang, every talk is a goldmine of knowledge and we are truly blessed to be the children of this Universal Mother. May we always stay under Her grace and prosper on this difficult but rewarding spiritual path!
