526. Om haridrannaika-rasikayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is fond of food seasoned with turmeric.

She heals with Her love. Amma’s real power lies in Her unending love for humanity; in Her acceptance of each of us; in Her divine ability of see God in each of us. Amma has within the divinity of the universe. And that is what makes Her so incredibly divine and in tune with the universe. What we don’t realise is that we are all part of that river of love, the river that flows endlessly, untiringly. The way a river cuts through many cities lending its waters to the people is exactly the way Amma goes from country to country embracing Her children with the much needed non judgemental love. We seek in Amma what we cannot find in the world. The material illusion of a world that we live in can never afford us complete happiness. This is why long queues are present at Amma’s darshans. Why we wait for hours to get a 10 second hug that acts as a balm for our tired souls. Amma is the ultimate healer, healing everyone with Her acceptance of us. Hopefully one day we will all learn to accept ourselves and spread this divine love.
