501. Om gudanna-prita-manasayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is fond of sweet rice made with raw sugar
Some days it is so beautiful to be able to enjoy a satsang in such a way that it feels almost personal. Where you feel that Amma is actually smiling ONLY at you! The connection is so strong! It was truly beautiful and brilliant. There was a reassuring sense of calm about the prayer, the people, the evening and not to forget, Amma's amazing presence. Even though She was looking at us from a picture, it felt like She was there. And She was because Amma's presence is so real. To the Mother who protects and ensures our safety and security at all times, I bow in surrender (though I would be lying and it would be egotistical of me to say that the surrender is complete. Far from it. I have much to learn!). To the Mother who knows our every thought, I lay down my ego. To the Mother who understands our every needs and knows that our intentions may not be bad, I promise to try and ensure faith in every step. I love You, Amma!
