716. Om mayayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is illusion.
A riveting satsang by Swamiji who spoke about reincarnation. His talk was simple: everything is cyclic. When there is birth, there will be death. When there is death, there will be rebirth. We have assumed this human form about 8.7 billion lives. After the human form is the form of God. But we operate from the level of the lowest consciousness which prevents us from seeing everything as being in a single state. This is what Mahatmas are capable of. They operate on the highest levels of consciousness. There is no duality for them. Everything and every one is one. Amma, as a child, would hug people and animals and trees because She saw them all as being a part of Her. We cannot make that distinction. And to move from the lower levels to the higher ones, we need to move on the strength of our good actions. Every thought and action directly translates into our karma. And the one thing death cannot take from us is the result of our good actions. So in everything we do, we must strive to do as much good as we can.
