Holding onto Amma!

588. Om trikutayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is in three parts

Dear Amma, whenever the going seems difficult, please send me a gentle reminder that You are always there for me. I tend to forget. And so I fret and fume and work myself up. And somewhere in all of this, I forget the vital role you play in my every second. All I need to do is surrender completely. Wherever You place us, it's because You know we need to be there for our spiritual growth. Allow me the moment of grace to realise the power of this faith, Amma! Whatever happens, let me hold on tightly to You just as a child would hold on to her Mother's arms while crossing a road. So also, as I undertake this journey, let me hold on tightly to You. Cos I know that You will lead the way.
"The Guru is indispensable for a spiritual aspirant. If a child goes near the edge of a pond, the mother will point out the danger and lead the child away. Similarly, the Guru will give befitting instructions when necessary. Her attention will always be on the disciple.": AMMA (Source)
