25. Om suddha vidyankurakara dvija pankti dvayojjvalayai namah: I bow down to Amma who has radiant teeth which resemble the buds of pure knowledge.
My spiritual mother has only studied up to Grade 4 or so. She grew up in a small fishing village, in abject poverty. Growing up, She had a tough life. She worked through the day, involved in household chores, after having been forced to give up on attending school. And yet today, Amma is the core of all knowledge. She's the source. Every thing pure and divine emanates from Her. Amma's wisdom is the distilled walk of the wise. What Amma says is the purest and highest unquestionable truth. Something we must follow, for no other path can illuminate our walk to the future.
Amma, as I exult in yet another mantra that celebrates your beauty, I realize how fortunate I am. That I know you, that I walk under the umbrella of your grace. That you have allowed me to be a part of your life, that I can rejoice in every word that you speak. That even the wisest words that leave you, brush past those radiant teeth. That I am in your world. That you are: my world!
Om Amriteswariye namah!
