A radiance undefined!

20. Om tara kanti tiraskari nasabharana bhasurayai namah: I bow down to Amma who shines with a nose ornament that excels the luster of the venus.

The world can have it's superficial definition of beauty: tall, fair, petite. And Amma isn't any of these. And unarguably, She's the most beautiful person in the world. She's truly the definition of inner beauty that, unable to be contained within, has poured out and literally engulfs Her in an undiminishing aura. You can see it a mile away while standing in the darshan line; you can feel it in the last row when Amma enters the hall; you can hear it in every whispered word her devotees utter.

And I call all of us, Amma's Army. We're not here to fight or defend. Our flag doesn't bear the authoritarian colors of a country; instead it bears the universal love of Amma. Our armory isn't stocked with the latest weapons: we only go forth with the compassion She has taught us. She takes away all our vices, hoping to instill every virtue known, in us.

She hasn't just touched a hundred or thousand lives. She's sprinkled Her love and unending grace on countries; on millions of devotees all over the world. Her touch of benevolence isn't just for the rich: it's even more defined for the poor. She sits for hours on end, sacrificing every possible human comfort, to reach out and wipe a tear from a heart that's waited for years, to be consoled. She only gives of Herself, to every person who comes seeking a piece of Her.

And to this glorious mother: what a privilege for that nose ornament to adorn that exquisite face! For even an inanimate object cannot but reflect the radiance from within!

Om Amriteswariye namah!
