558. Om kamalaksa-nisevitayai namah: I bow down to Amma in whom Vishnu takes refuge
When a day begins and ends with the word "Amma," you know that your ultimate refuge is the Divine Mother. She is the one to whom even the Gods look, for refuge. I read a beautiful quote by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: "Faith is a great wealth and gives you strength. Just because a few small things did not go in your favour, it does not mean that you should make your faith so fragile and delicate that it breaks every now and then."
Our faith in Amma should be stolid, unbreakable; immovable. There should be absolutely nothing fragile about it. Like a rock that no tornado or typhoon can move. Rock steady, as it were. And then the rock will gain even more power and strength from the grace that will flow towards it from the compassionate Master.
Om Amriteswariye namah!
