533. Om sarvaudana-prita-cittayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is pleased by all offerings of food.
Every decision in life must be made as an offering to Amma. It should be made because of Amma. Will She be happy with our decisions? That should really be the only criterion for every thought that we arrive upon. It's wonderful how then Amma will always make things happen in a way that will suit our spiritual journey. Because She is always there for us, Amma will always spread Her safety net under us. There will always be Her values that we can tether ourselves to. Amma will never leave us rudderless. The foundation of our spiritual journey lies in Amma's teachings. I started out on my journey only in Amma's teachings. It's only after I started following Amma that I began to have a sliver of understanding about the divine powers. From a decorated face caged in a picture, God became someone I had met. A Mother. Grace became a more familiar word. The whole concept of seeing Amma in everyone was at first a surprise. And then I realised just how difficult it was. It's almost impossible to put aside every difference and see God in another ordinary human being. And Amma does it everyday, seeing the divine universe in thousands of people, embracing them and swaddling them in the purest of the pure love ever!
