536. Om svadhayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is the object of the invocation 'svadha' at the end of mantras chanted while making offerings to the ancestors
Dear Amma, there is so much strife and problems in the world. Everyone is pursuing their own dreams, their own beliefs and in this journey, everyone is walking alone. Countries are caught up in terror attacks and there is a cloud of fear above all of us. You are our only source of calm and peace. You are the only one who can help us through the daily walk on the spiritual path as we stumble and fall. As we make decisions and choose between good and bad everyday. When we give way to our based instincts and fall down the moral ladder. When we judge others without living in their shoes for even a minute.
There is so much sadness, worry and anxiety all around. We are living in ruthless times. And You can be our only savior. Thoughts of You give us hope and the knowledge that You are always there for us. That You will take care of Your children. That You will always protect us from the grime of the earth. And for this blanket of grace, we are always ever grateful.
