Our pursuit of happiness!

532. Om sarvatomukhyai namah: I bow down to Amma who has faces turned in all directions

The busy schedule has already set in and the one fear I have is, will I be able to keep my mind Amma-centric at all times?
More beautiful thoughts from Amma's speech:
"God has given each of us a face. Whether it expresses love or anger is completely up to us. If we smile all the time, it will make others smile too. If we have love and peace within, it will create such feelings in others as well. Then the whole environment will be filled with happiness. In this manner, in this coming year, may we be able to make our families, countries and world blossom more fully in love. Let us step into the New Year with this prayer. Amma wishes all of her children a very happy 2015." -From Amma's New Year Address, delivered January 1, 2015
I hope we are able to have the strength to project happiness at all times. The pursuit of happiness is the saddest thing of all. We chase happiness with a feeling that almost borders on vengeance whereas common sense tells us this should be easy. Effortless. And the only time that feeling suffuses in us is when we feel oneness with the universe, with nature, with Amma. When we sit in front of Amma and meditate on Her beautiful form. When we lose the material world to the banality of everyday life and pick up the pieces of essential spirituality. And all this can only happen when we have the Mothers grace upon us. May we live in the most joyous manner possible!
