Today I was sent a message from my sister mentioning God as a He. So I told her God was a She. And she said, How do you know?
Because I have met her. I have been hugged by Her several times, been given sweets, prasad, apples. Not to mention, the innumerable blessings. She has many a times asked me to walk a certain path. She has blessed me with a lovely daughter. She has given me a beautiful family and an amazing career. She has allowed me to enjoy the basic senses and given me the freedom to express myself. She has blessed me in so many different ways. I have a life that I am truly thankful for. I am on a ever emerging spiritual path. And I know my Amma is always there for me. She protects and cleanses me with Her grace.
So is God a woman? Not just any woman. Just, Amma.
