Somedays you want to remove clutter from your life. You want to clean up and spit, polish your entire surrounding. That's when you realize that whatever you touch in your prayer area that is connected to Amma, always has a significance in your life. Whether it be that locket that's possibly slightly frayed at the edges or the 108 bead meditation mala or even a bookmark from a previous Amma programme: each of these will find their purpose in our lives. It's tough to remove and throw away anything to do with Amma because She forms such an integral part of our life. It goes beyond just putting pictures of Amma everywhere; it's a space where everything connected with Amma makes a difference in our lives. Where the mere thought of Amma is enough to fill us with a sense of security and love. Where little souvenirs from an erstwhile programme brings back beautiful memories of our time with Amma and that's enough to sustain us till the next time we see Her!
