Amma, our Guru!

355. Om samhrtasesa-pasandayai namah: I bow down to Amma who destroys all heretics

Tasmai Sri Guruvey namah!
All it takes is a few moments in the presence of the Guru to know that the finest gift you can give yourself and others is the gift of positivity. Amma lights up with joy when we stand smiling, in front of Her. Every inch of that happiness comes from you,  Amma. She works really hard to ensure that we, Her children are happy at all times.
It's been a year since I started this blog as an offering of my devotion to Amma. On Guru purnima last year, I began this journey. It's been a tough year made bearable only by thoughts of Amma. This year,  finally seeing Her after a period of 15 months, all I could do was collapse in a pool of tears during darshan.  None of the words and thoughts I had strung together in my head came to my rescue. The tears that flowed were a mix of relief,  gratitude,  fear and sadness. But Amma soothed it all away.  By the next minute I felt all my cares ebb away. Like my burdens had been taken from me. Amma has done Her magic yet again.
