60. Om kadamba vana vasinyai namah: I bow down to Amma who resides in the kadamba forest
Amma satsangs are so amazing to attend. That soft voice that guides us through life's instructions! She wraps each moral in the guise of a funny joke and as we laugh, happy to just be in Her presence, we learn invaluable lessons. Amma's life is a lesson in itself. Her silence when She was born is a lesson in meditation. Amma's unending love for each and every one of us is a lesson in being non judgmental. Amma tirelessly serving us is lesson in devotion to a cause. Amma giving darshan to thousands of people at a time, is a lesson in selflessness. Amma walking the earth only so we could lead better lives, is a lesson in magnanimity. Even Her footprints are a lesson in working tirelessly for a cause. Why would we need to ever look elsewhere when the answer to every question that arises, lies within Her? Amma is a living scripture: Her every action defines a tenet of Her religion of Love.
In this 60th mantra, Amma resides in the kadamba forest. She sits there meditating in peace amongst beautiful nature. And yet, in actuality, Amma's every action is meditative. She gives Her undivided attention to each child of Hers. Not one child will ever feel neglected or forgotten when in Her presence. If we should feel it when we aren't physically with Her, the onus is really on us to open our eyes, still our minds and feel Her overpowering presence. It's as trivial as saying that unless we have our oxygen masks on, we aren't inhaling it! She's our very life breath; She's the certainty in our next step; She's the wind beneath our wings.
