204. Om sarva-mantra-svarupinyai namah: I bow down to Amma who is the essence of all the mantras
The mantras celebrate divinity in its highest form. Each mantra celebrates an aspect of Shiva Shakti. An aspect of the beautiful Devi. Each mantra talks about Devi as being the divine, as being the greatest object of our worship, who leads us onto the right path. Who rewards and protects. Who is the ultimate Mother to all Her devotees.
Amma is the essence of all the mantras. Each word that is said with reverence to the divine is an offering to Amma. Each prayer that assimilates everything beautifully spiritual in the world is in actuality an oblation to our most wonderful Mother. Mantras are still the highest form of language. Even our mere words are our tokens of devotion to the Mother who turns the pages of life for us. Amma is the sum total of all the mantras. From Sri-matre namah to Sri Lalitambikayi namah...every breath is Amma. She is after all the auspicious Mother. The Empress of the Universe. The Divine Mother Lalita.
I only know Amma. I look for Her everywhere. In beautiful flowers, trees, soothing breeze. So if I should find her in beautiful mantras, it's an added reward of knowing the Sri Lalitasahasranamavalli!
Om Amriteswariye namah!
