211. Om mrda-priyayai namah: I bow down to Amma who is the beloved of Mrida (Shiva)
There are facts I discover about Amma every day. Here's something I read in amma.org: "Amma has never asked anyone to change their religion. Only to go deeper into their values or faith, and live by those essential principles."
And here are some beautiful quotes on love from Amma:
"Love is our true essence."
"The more you give, the more your heart is filled. Love is a never ending stream."

"When love overflows and is expressed through every word & deed, we call it compassion. That is the goal of religion."
“Love one another without any expectations. Then, there is no need to go anywhere in search of heaven.”
"May your thoughts, words and actions arise from love.”
"If we have love and compassion in our hearts, then we will wholeheartedly serve those who suffer from lack of food, clothing and shelter.”
"Be like the honeybee who gathers only nectar wherever it goes. Seek the goodness that is found in everyone."
“Real love is the complete absence of any negative feelings towards anyone.”
“Love is the only medicine that can heal the wounds of the world.”
"You can only feel love by expressing it."
Amma is the beloved of Shiva and every God. She's also the beloved of all Her children, all Her millions of children who totally adore Her. I have many talks with Amma through the day. I tell Her everything that happens. I cry to Her, I laugh and confide in Her. I get angry with Her. I discuss decisions with Her. She's my best listener. She's my guide at every step. When I go to the Shivan temple and see the Devi kshetram, it's so beautiful! I feel Amma's overwhelming presence there. Why wouldn't I? After all Amma is the beloved of Shiva. And of Her 32 million children.
