704. Om sarasvatyai namah: I bow down to Amma who is in the form of knowledge
'In response to the question of a devotee, Amma said, “We should introspect at the end of each day and ask ourselves, “Did I go out of my way and help somebody? Was I selfish in my actions or was I able to maintain a selfless attitude? Did I hurt anybody with my words and actions? Was I mature with my emotions?” These are questions that will help us to gauge our progress and help us make resolutions for the next day. My children, never lose your awareness of the goal. If the awareness stays with you, you will never be distracted by anything in the world.”'
I need this. Every day I need to work with the knowledge that some of my words may be leaving me clothed in barbed wires; some of my actions may be done under the cloak of stress. How does any of that matter? If I hurt anyone, who cares what the reason is? I don't wish to leave debris behind. Amma teaches us to accept everyone and see Amma in everyone. Only then can we truly love everyone around us. Imagine, seeing our darling Mother everywhere, within everyone:) When we do this, the world will naturally and easily become a wonderful place to live in!
